Metaflex Polaris Freezer Automatic/ Manual

Ideal for use in conditioned spaces such as cold storage rooms and distribution centres. The Metaflex Polaris Freezer is robust and has a hygienic finish, specially designed for industrial environments with a large number of product movements. The door provides complete sealing of the conditioned space, preventing any unnecessary energy loss. Specification:
Automatically operated, airtight sliding door suitable for use in areas with positive temperatures up to 60 °C, including rail and front frame.

Doorblade
The door, made up of panels, is 80 mm thick, has a core of polyurethane with a galvanised steel layer on both sides and is finished with a polyester powder coating colour White (≈ RAL 9010) or Grey-white (RAL 9002). The door leaf has a rim of stainless steel and features a rubber gasket on three sides and a drag rubber at the bottom; this combination ensures a completely airtight seal. The door leaf is equipped with a protective bumper.

Wall Frame
Assembly frame of 150 x 45 mm filled with polyurethane in the colour White (≈ RAL 9010) or Grey-white (RAL 9002) and an aluminium bottom sill both including heater tape. Internal wall finishing is on behalf of subcontractors.

Rail
Aluminium rail construction with indentation to attain airtight sealing function.

Canopy
Sloping, removable canopy of coated steel plate in the colour; Bright Aluminium (RAL 9006). Motor is hidden under the canopy.
Automation
Automation consisting of a motor, a microprocessor operated controller in plastic casing and a geared belt drive. Opening speed is variably adjustable.
Operation
Stainless steel inner-outer opener with lever principle, allowing effortless opening of the door. Both sides are equipped with a pull switch, one side has a two-button operation (emergency/open).
Security
Sliding door system equipped with an obstacle detecting safety system in the clearance opening. options – lock – rail guide support – safety edge.
